Spectral Analysis to Analyze Objects and Their Makeup Using App

This new and unusual app helps to analysis an object and also their design or makeup. This app is invented from veteran R&D group Fraunhofer. So we can predict that it may be very good and real piece in our life. The creator of this app professes that it is able to look inside things or matter and it will tell you their integral parts. If anybody claimed to like this them I would say you should go to hawk your snake oil somewhere else.



The name of that surprising app is HawkSpex mobile. Using this app you can perform a spectral analysis on whatever you want to; just you have to point out on that thing. But for that purpose, you require one thing that is specialized optical equipment means as a particular prism or hyper-spectral camera sensor. But the exciting matter is the app HawkSpex does it with a normal Smartphone camera. Want to know how?!

Generally, spectral analysis gear would cleave the light that hit an object into particular wavelength ranges. Then it searches for spikes here and there that stipulate the existence or absence of definite elements or stuff. For an example now if you want to observe whether water contains lead or not then you might check for reflectivity at 283.3 nanometers.

In the Fraunhofer announcement, the lead person for the project Udo Seiffert described, “Since hyper-spectral cameras aren’t integrated into Smartphones, we simply reversed this principle”.

HawkSpex uses the phone’s display to illuminate the object with lights of known wavelengths Instead of cleaving a broad swath of spectrum into little pieces and it observes the object as it reflects each one individually. It is a smart workaround and we assuming it works as it advertised.



Though there is also a limit to perform work by this kind of casual spectral analysis by Smartphone but it will be useful to check stuff whether that wanted or unwanted is present on that object. For an example, if you go to the market to buy an apple then you could check any traces of pesticides or you could also check if there are any paint layer exist or not. Using this app you can check wine for poison or soil for nutrients.

Fraunhofer added “There are so many conceivable uses that the market will surely overrun us,” Seiffert said, “with certainty”. By training the app users will be able to add data into the service. For an instance, you can compare coffee with and without caffeine.

That is all about the app so you can analyze things without going lab. This app is currently tested internally and before publishing for normal people the project team is going to load this with some common use.
